Crescent Head Area Master Plan

Council has been working with the community to develop the Crescent Head Area Master Plan (CHAMP). This important long term planning document will guide decisions to be made around planning for future social, economic and environmental change in the village of Crescent Head.

The Master Plan will provide Council, business and government stakeholders and the community the opportunity to consider a range of issues affecting the village such as infrastructure and recreation services, land usage, future development options and processes for balancing the varied needs of the residents, visitors and investors.

Community engagement and a collaborative approach is an important part of developing the Plan. There will be many opportunities to have a say.

Stage 1 of the community engagement enabled the development of a Community Discussion Paper. View the Discussion Paper and the results of stage 1 in the document library.

To further inform the priority actions to be outlined in the Master Plan, during Stage 2 the community was encouraged to;

The Draft Master Plan is now on public exhibition from Friday 21 July to Monday 21 August. You are invited to make an online submission during this time.

SUBMISSIONS ARE NOW CLOSED. Community feedback is being reviewed and the final Master Plan will be presented to Council in coming months.
