Community Catch-ups

Kempsey Shire Council Community Catch-ups

Kempsey Shire Council is seeking to more actively engage with the community through a program of Community Catch-ups. Part of Council’s Communications Strategy, the Catch-ups involve Councillors and senior Council staff out in the community inspecting sites of interest, answering questions and building relationships.

Quarterly Catch-ups will be held in different locations throughout the Shire with the community invited to submit their questions and discussion points ahead of the meeting.

Frederickton Community Catch-up

The Community Catch-up at Frederickton will invovle site visits for the Councillors to various areas of interest in the specific community, ahead of the meeting.

The Frederickton meeting will be held at the School of Arts Hall, 20 Macleay Street on February 28 at 5pm until 7pm.  

Residents were encouraged to place markers on the map where they wanted councillors to visit in the area.

The Stuarts Point meeting was held in the hall on Ocean St on Wednesday 25 October.
