Project Update - December 2023

As of the end of December, 62 surveys sites have been completed across the eastern portion of the Kempsey Shire. Properties include a combination of public and private land. 58% of the survey sites recorded koala scat.

Due to the recent hot weather, we are having a break in field surveys until March 2024.

Council would like to thank those landholders who have been involved in this project to date. Those landholders that have had surveys undertaken on their land will receive an individualised Summary Report in January 2024.

Council will be in contact with those landholders yet to be visited in February 2024 to organise survey times for March 2024.
