How was this plan developed?

The Masterplan has been informed by site analysis and stakeholder engagement, identifying both constraints and opportunities.

Key considerations include:

• frequent flooding and poor drainage due to low-lying topography and a shallow water table;

• fragmented layout across two parcels with limited internal connectivity;

• accessibility challenges, including lack of compliant amenities and limited pedestrian access;

• environmental constraints, including vegetation, potential endangered ecological communities and koala habitat;

The draft Crescent Head Sports Fields Master Plan responds to these issues through the coordinated set of proposed improvements, while maintaining flexibility for future staging and funding.
