Developing a Fredrickton Community Plan

Just weeks after Council's new Executive Team commenced in February, a Community Catch-up was held at Frederickton with around 30 people in attendance. There was spirited discussion, some support for the significant change underway at Council and a clear message that the community want the engagement to continue.

This page is the start of that ongoing conversation and a platform to build on to develop a revised and updated Frederickton Community Plan.

    September 2018

    Council welcomed the State Government’s announcement of more than $1.7 million in funding towards six community infrastructure projects. Included in the list is $274,921 for Frederickton River Park new amenities, playground and picnic area.

    This was a prioirty project identified by the community. Stay tuned for updates on project timing and details.
