MacleayLink is a community information hub created by Kempsey Shire Council to inform and connect community groups, service providers and individuals of the Macleay Valley with resources, opportunities and information that may be valuable to you, your clients or your stakeholders.

Examples of what can be shared include: grants and funding opportunities, training and workshops, community service provider network meetings, sponsorship opportunities, competitions, State and Federal community education information and awareness campaigns, awards nominations and expressions of interest.

  • All submissions will be moderated for appropriate content (political, offensive or sensitive information will not be approved)
  • We will aim to action your submission within 2-5 business days
  • Use images to help your post stand out

  • Seven News Young Achiever Awards

    The Seven News Young Achiever Awards are designed to acknowledge, encourage and most importantly promote the positive achievements of all young people in NSW and the ACT up to and including 29 years of age.

    Great prizes are up for grabs! Category winners will each receive $1,000 cash, a $1,000 Bartercard account and a trophy. One of the category winners will be chosen as the NSW/ACT Young Achiever of the Year will also receive $2,000 and a trophy. Plus, every nominee will receive a dedicated media release sent to their local paper encouraging them to write a story and...

    The Aboriginal Education Council Aboriginal Education Award seeks to recognise Indigenous and Non Indigenous young people engaged in the education of Aboriginal people, education about Aboriginal people and culture, or education with Aboriginal people. Entry is free, and we would love you to nominate!

    Your Health Link National Photographic Competition and Exhibition is a program developed by the Mid North Coast Local Health District (MNCLHD) and is endorsed by the NSW Health Centre for Population Health, NSW Office of Preventive Health and the Healthy Kids Association.

    Primary and high school students are encouraged to grab their trusty camera, mobile phone or tablet and capture images that promote 'Healthy Life - Healthy You' for a chance to win a range of great prizes.

    Schools are also the big winners with $13,000 in prizes to support healthy canteen programs.

    COMPETITION CLOSES 15 OCTOBER 2018.

    Schools across NSW are invited to submit an Expression of Interest to participate in the 2019 Premier’s Anzac Memorial Scholarship.

    In 2019 the Scholarship will fund the trip of a lifetime for 20 students. Visiting historic sites and significant battlefields and memorials in Germany, France and Belgium, the Scholars will learn about the causes of the First and Second World Wars, and commemorate the service and sacrifice of the Australians who fought in those conflicts.

    EOI submissions close 10am on Monday 15 October 2018. A ballot will be held on Wednesday 17 October 2018 to draw 20 schools. Each school drawn will be responsible for selecting a maximum of three students who are enrolled in either Year 10 or 11 in 2019. The Office for Veterans Affairs will then consider the candidates put forward by each school and complete the final selection process to choose one student per school.
