Welcome to MacleayLink

MacleayLink is a community information hub created by Kempsey Shire Council to inform and connect community groups, service providers and individuals of the Macleay Valley with resources, opportunities and information that may be valuable to you, your clients or your stakeholders.

Examples of what can be shared include: grants and funding opportunities, training and workshops, community service provider network meetings, sponsorship opportunities, competitions, State and Federal community education information and awareness campaigns, awards nominations and expressions of interest.

Important Information:

  • Please share your community information through the submission tab
  • All submissions will be moderated for appropriate content (political, offensive or sensitive information will not be approved)
  • We will aim to action your submission within 2-5 business days
  • Use images to help your post stand out
  • Tagging your submission will allow it to be categorised and searched for in a meaningful way (limit tags to 4 please)
  • This is not an event space - if you have an upcoming event please submit it to the Hey Hey Macleay! community events calendar on the right hand side of this page or go to community.kempsey.nsw.gov.au

    Yellow Ladybugs is dedicated to the happiness, success and celebration of autistic girls and women. Our mission is to improve the lives of autistic girls and women, when needed. We aim to do this by raising acceptance and awareness about the female presentation of autism in the education, employment, medical and general community. We also strive to create positive inclusive experiences for autistic girls and women and often advocate for the rights of autistic girls and women. We support identity first language, and uphold the values of "nothing about us, without us".

    Yellow Ladybugs is a volunteer community group who proudly create social events, similar to birthday parties, where girls can come together and have the opportunity to meet and bond over their similar journey. Our vision is to foster a strong bond, which will ultimately create a network of friends outside of school.

    PWDA are in the process of creating a National Services directory for the Wayfinder Hub as part of a National NDIA funded Information, Linkages and Capacity project. The Wayfinder Hub will be developing a contact centre and Website to support a range of stakeholders including People with Disability, Carers/Family Members, Service providers and the General public.

    This will give people the ability to contact our centre through our 1800 number, email or website chat to request information about the services in their area.

    We are seeking information to ensure that we are able to connect relevant information to people contacting...

    Sunny has been designed to make sure it provides the very best support while meeting accessibility compliance standards.

    The Sunny app is completely free to download and use on iPhone and Android phones. Simply visit the iOS App Store or Google Play.

    My Supports is a community based organisation providing support to people with a disability who are registered with the NDIS. Providing a unique, person-centred approach, My Supports assists people at home to remain actively engaged in their local community.

    My Supports is currently servicing the area from Taree up to Coffs Harbour with Neighbourhood Coordinators located in the Port Macquarie area.

    Kempsey Community Suicide Prevention is proudly supported by the Department of Health as one of four trial sites under the North Coast Primary Health Network (NCPHN) and BlackDog Institute Lifespan Trial.

    We are currently situated at Macleay Valley Workplace Learning Centre in South Kempsey, and are implementing a community based approach to Prevention, Early Intervention and Sustainable Wellbeing of our Kempsey Community.
