Residents are invited to have their say on a draft Councillors Expenses and Facilities Policy.

Councillors discussed the draft policy at the September council meeting, and it is now being put forward for public review.

The draft document outlines what expenses Councillors can be reimbursed for and the capped amounts to help councillors undertake their civic duties. This includes uniform, travel, professional development and meal allowances.

It ensures accountability and transparency and seeks to align Councillor expenses and facilities with community expectations.

Council has placed the draft policy on public exhibition for 28 days.

If you have something to say about any aspect of the draft policy, we encourage you to make a submission.

Submissions can be made by one of the following methods:
