Kempsey Shire Council is committed to creating community that provide pedestrian infrastructure that meets the needs of residents including older persons, people with mobility or vision impairments, school children and recreational pedestrians.

To assist Council identify improvement opportunities a pedestrian facilities audit focusing on safety will be undertaken.




Pedestrians are requested to provide feedback where there is an identified safety concern with any of the following:

  • Footpaths
  • Intersections
  • Signage
  • Lighting
  • Pedestrian crossing
  • Shared walkway
