Expression Of Interest: reVITALise - Kempsey Railway Station Precinct
Welcome to the Kempsey Railway Station reVITALise Project
Kempsey Shire Council, in partnership with Transport for NSW, is excited to announce a new initiative that will transform the public transport precinct around Kempsey Railway Station into a safer, more welcoming, and well-connected space. With the support of the reVITALise - Public Transport Precinct Vibrancy program, we are set to enhance Kempsey Railway Station vibrancy and safety, making it a better place for both the local community and commuters.
Kempsey is one of the seven pilot councils selected for this initiative, and Kempsey Shire Council has been awarded $1 million to create a more vibrant and accessible transport area. This funding will go towards designing and delivering community-informed improvements, making a more community connected space where travel is easier, more comfortable, and more enjoyable for everyone.
