Thank you to everyone who submitted a response on the Interim Traffic Management Options Discussion Paper.

You can view a a Summary of responses that were received. Overall we received 87 submissions with 37 respondents residing within Sturt and adjoining streets, and 17 respondents living on Sturt Street

Community feedback was considered at the Traffic Committee, and they supported Option 1 (Do Nothing) and recommend Council continue to monitor traffic and parking behaviour in Sturt Street and determine as required the

Community feedback was considered at the Traffic Committee, and they supported Option 1 (Do Nothing) and recommend Council continue to monitor traffic and parking behaviour in Sturt Street and determine as required the need to revisit the options identified in this report and/or any other action considered necessary.

On 16 June a Report to Council was presented

Council resolved to

1. support the recommendation of the Local Traffic Committee meeting 2nd June 2019, and

2. include Sturt St and surrounding streets in a broader traffic study of South West Rocks to be placed on an unfunded works list.

Background

You might be interested in having a say on the proposed traffic management options that are being considered to manage traffic flow and parking issues.

In response to resident complaints, Council is considering a number of options to provide traffic management solutions to improve function and safety on Sturt street, between Hill and McIntyre streets.

As a result 6 options are presented for community feedback .
