Hi, it's really easy to find out when your bins go out, simply go to: http://www.kempsey.nsw.gov.au/bincalendar follow the two step process, look up the alphabetical list to find your street and whether you are a Week A or Week B then open the Week A or Week B calendar for your street. After this, if in doubt next week put all 3 of your bins out and the correct 2 will be emptied.

Hi, the current waste contractor split River Street, West Kempsey into two sections. One section was collected on a Tuesday and the other on a Wednesday. Our new contractor will now collect all of the street on a Tuesday. Thanks for pointing it out.

    Hi,

The bin collections contractor is in the process of collecting 24,000 bins across the Shire. It was part of the contract to remove old bins and reduce costs of the new waste contract.

It was never suggested by Council to keep your old bins and therefore it is not possible to get your old bin back once its been removed.

Hi, the three bin system is best practice across Australia and is standard in many areas so lots of visitors to our area will be familiar with this process.  All real estate agents and owners  have been provided with information to sort and save. The bins are also hot stamped with what can go in each bin.

Council has a bin collection calendar on its website. Just follow the two easy steps on this link. http://www.kempsey.nsw.gov.au/bincalendar . After this if in doubt next week put all 3 of your bins out and the correct 2 will be emptied.
