WILLAWARRIN

Willawarrin, and the Macleay Valley Hinterland, is a wild and natural area with a rich Indigenous, agricultural and musical history. The residents are proud of the mateship, spirit and generosity of the community. Willawarrin is a safe community hub amongst the rural, riverside landscape. This page aims to bring together projects in Willawarrin for community engagement and feedback.

What has been happening?

Willawarrin Showground Precinct: Council carried out works including a new canteen and administration building, amenities, playground and upgrading showground surfaces and roads. Read more here.

Community Catch-Up: The Mayor, Councillors and Senior Leadership Staff visited points of interest and answered community questions. Read more in the SUMMARY REPORT.

    The catch-up meetings are designed to be less formal than a council meeting and to provide an opportunity to update residents on projects specific to their part of the Macleay
