We know that our libraries are important to you and the community. Help us shape the direction and focus of library services for the next 5 years.

WHAT ARE WE DOING?

Council is in the process of developing our strategic plan for our libraries to take us through to 2026.

As a first step we are reviewing our 2014-2019 Library Strategic Plan to reflect on what has worked well.

WHY ARE WE DOING IT?

The Library Strategic Plan determines the direction for Council spending and planning for our libraries as community centres for the next five years.

Why do we have a specific library plan? We plan for the things that are most important, and according to Albert Einstein:

"The only thing that you absolutely have to know, is the location of the library."

HOW CAN YOU HAVE YOUR SAY?

We are seeking feedback from you on the 2014-2019 Library Strategic Plan and ideas for a new plan to take us into the future.

For inspiration check out our Think Outside The Box links on the righthand side of this page.

You can provide your feedback via the Future Libraries Survey and you can also share your great ideas and tell us what you love about the library.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

Feedback will close in March 2021 and additional engagement opportunities will be promoted early in 2021.

If you are a community group, school, government agency or business network you can register your interest for receiving direct contact from Council in 2021
