Kempsey Shire Council Community Catch-ups

Kempsey Shire Council is engaging with the community regularly this year through a program of Community Catch-ups.

Community Catch-ups involve Councillors and the Senior Leadership Team getting out into the community to inspect sites of interest, answer questions and build relationships.

The catch-ups will be held in different locations throughout the Shire.

Members of the community are encouraged to submit their questions and discussion points ahead of the meeting.

    5-7pm  - Community Catch-up 

    The catch-up meetings are designed to be less formal than a council meeting and to provide an opportunity to update residents on projects specific to their part of the Macleay. A full agenda can be found HERE

    Kempsey Council will be informing and engaging with the Crescent Head community on a range of projects including

     - "Your Future-Places and Space"  - Community Strategic Infrastructure Plan which can also be located HERE

     - "Your Future- Growth and Character"  - Local Strategic Planning Statement which can be located HERE

    - Three projects from the Crescent Head Masterplan that are in this years Operating Plan including the Traffic Management and Parking Plan, Foreshore Recreation and Landscape plan and the Town Centre Urban Landscape Plan. More detail will be provided on these projects shortly. It is planned that a design workshop will be held on October 3rd and community are invited to participate. You can locate the Masterplan HERE

    The catchup will be interactive and will provide you with an overview of the above projects and an opportunity to have a say.
